Real leadership for District 103.
I'm running because I believe in our district—Doral, Medley, Miami Lakes, Hialeah, Hialeah Gardens, Miramar, and Palm Springs North can grow stronger without sacrificing our principles.
Please consider supporting my campaign!
Tom Fabricio has made public service the hallmark of his career. After earning his law degree from Nova Southeastern University, he quickly became involved in a variety of community activities, including serving on the City of Miramar’s Planning and Zoning Board and on the Broward County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. The Broward County Mayor appointed Tom to the Broward County Charter Review Commission.
In 2010, Tom received Hands On Miami’s Volunteer Leader of the Year Award for his volunteer work with several organizations throughout the Miami area, principally with inner city and at-risk youth groups. He also serves on the advisory board for his alma mater, Marymount Manhattan College, and he is a member of the Hialeah-Miami Lakes Republican Club.
Tom practices law in the field of insurance defense, where he works to protect small businesses and consumers from frivolous lawsuits. He is a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and serves on its Legislative Action Committee.
While government itself doesn’t create jobs, public policy has a tremendous impact on fostering an environment that supports economic growth and puts more people to work.
Tom will work to roll back government red tape and keep taxes low so hardworking families keep more of what they earn and businesses can expand and hire more employees.
He will work with state and regional leaders to attract new businesses that keep our local economy diverse and vibrant, while also promoting a climate that does not neglect our existing small business success stories.
With the right leadership, the private sector will flourish and ensure our economic security for generations to come.
We stand on the shoulders of our senior citizens who have worked hard to pave the way for us. Now it’s our turn to look out for them. State policies must provide relief from higher taxes and fees that take too big a bite out of seniors’ fixed incomes.
Tom will also work tirelessly to fight shameful and disgusting scam operators who prey on vulnerable seniors.
Education at Every Level
Now, more than ever, we must emphasize effective education, for both youth and adults.
Workforce training is essential for connecting job creators to workers, so all can enjoy lasting and meaningful economic prosperity.
Enhance Our Quality of Life
The secret is out that South Florida is the best area in the country to live and work. While growth brings challenges like traffic gridlock and skyrocketing housing costs, they are not insurmountable. Tom will work with officials and community leaders to address traffic congestion from all angles, including smarter development and promoting use of public transportation. He understands that everyone needs a roof over their heads, and he will work with stakeholders at every level to meet Miami-Dade’s dire need for affordable housing.
Tom will address the issue of blasting, and how it is hurting our community, by filing a bill on his first day in office which will seek to reduce the negative effects.
